Does Medical ID wear out how long can I expect my SportsTagID Medical ID Bracelet to last?
We have over 1700 athletes wearing our ID and Sport Medical ID. To say we make a durable product is truly an understatement. That being said nothing lasts forever. Our laser engraving will last many years with normal use. If your active and contact it taken place some minor scuffing is normal with all ID and tags can be replaced as can the ID bands. On average our staff till this date have been wearing the product for over 31/2 years day in day out with no issues whatsoever. If your sweating heavily and spend time outdoors, minimal fading is normal wear and tear but does not affect the durability of our silicone.
We do recommend replacing your band ever 24 months or keeping an extra band on file. This give you a chance to change colors and not become board wearing the same ID every day and the durations of your ID will increased two fold.
